Morrell House
Today I worked at the Morrell House again. This is a restoration project that my church is doing. We are restoring this old Craftsman Style home for the City of Redondo Beach. Ultimately it will become part of the Redondo Beach Historical Society. We do all the work on Saturdays. This is what it looked like this morning.

Morrell House Dining Room
Since the last time I worked at the Morrell House, they had sanded and put the first coat of finish on the floors. Don’t they look great! (This picture was stitched together from several individual pictures)

Morrell House Living Room
This is the living room. Look at those great floors! That is 1920’s wood sanded and refinished. (This picture was stitched together from several individual pictures)

Fixed/painted EavePainted Fascia
I painted this eave and white fascia around the front porch.

Painted RailingRailing 2
I also painted this railing in the back of the house.

Working underneath
I got to work underneath the house today too. I went down there to pull some electrical wires and wire up a fan.

Digging a Water Line
Other people were flushing out the dirt under the walk to run a irrigation line for the plants that will go in. Also throughout the house we had people working on putting in the finish electrical and plumbing and finish interior carpentry. I just didn’t get pictures of that.

Morrell House Afternoon
This is how the house looked in the afternoon.
