I went to Alaska this week for work. We have two photometers installed up there to monitor the aurora. We went up to Fairbanks and Fort Yukon to calibrate them and take them home for the summer. This summer I will refurbish them with new computers and such. We will reinstall them in the fall. Go see the photoset on Flickr. I flew every single day so there are lots of pictures from airplanes.
