Checking out the dessert table |
Today Donna and I went to our first Christmas party of the season! It was a party for our church staff. Since Donna works in the church office, we went. It was a great time! The food was very good. It was from Buca de Bepo. We all ate and chatted and had a good time.
There was a gift exchange too. The exchange was done with a memory game. You write your name on two slips of paper that have numbers on the other side. Then they place all the slips on a table. You have to pick two slips and if they match, then you get that person’s present. There is no stealing or trading of gifts with this came as opposed to the Chinese Auction style. We had a great time and it was fun to start out the holiday season!
